Decision Theme: Allowing exploration without losing situational awareness

Dogs explore the world with movement. Restricting that movement too much can lead to frustration, while allowing too much freedom creates risk. Finding that middle ground was the main reason I considered this lead.

Before buying, I worried that a retractable system might encourage pulling or reduce attentiveness. After regular use, the opposite happened. Because distance could be adjusted smoothly, I stayed more aware of my dog’s position rather than reacting late.
